What is a timesheet?

A timesheet is an overview of when employees have worked – hours, breaks and absences. In Timelista each employee fills in their hours digitally on mobile, tablet or PC, and everything is collected automatically into one overview ready for payroll, invoicing and inspection – with no spreadsheets or manual totalling.

Is a personalliste required by law in Norway?

Yes. Industries such as hospitality, construction, cleaning and car care must keep a personalliste under bokføringsforskriften § 8-5-6 – a record of who is at work at any given time. It has to be available immediately during an inspection by Skatteetaten or Arbeidstilsynet. Timelista updates the personalliste automatically when employees check in, so it is always correct and inspection-ready.
